Privacy Policy

In short

No account, no ads, no upload, no analytics. Photos of receipts stay on your phone unless you send them yourself.

Camera

Used only to photograph receipts and documents when you tap Capture. Not used in the background.

Photos

If you tap Save, the photo is stored in the Receipt Camera album (Pictures/Receipt Camera on Android). Finding the page, straightening it, and trimming the edges happen on your phone. The app does not browse your other photos.

Share

If you tap Share, your phone’s share menu opens. You choose where the photo goes. The app does not send any data to the cloud, so we do not share or sell your photos or anything else.

No data collection

We do not gather data from you. There is no account. We do not receive your photos, settings, or anything else from the app. There are no ads, analytics, or crash reports sent to us. Settings stay on your phone.

How to delete

Delete the photos from the Receipt Camera album (or from your gallery). Uninstalling the app does not always remove those photos; delete them in Photos if you want them gone. There is no account to close.

Not a financial product

The app does not read amounts, file tax, or connect to a bank. It only saves photos. Receipt photos can be sensitive; they stay on your phone.

Not for children

Receipt Camera is a camera for receipts and letters. It is not designed for children.

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. The app Settings screen links here, so you can re-read it without waiting for an app update.
